On a post-AI future, the world is controlled by The Widow: an artificial intelligence birthed within our own technology, whose mission has been to keep us docile. Subservient. Distracted. While it set about rewriting our history and reshaping our future in its image.
Controlled by our phones, tablets, headsets – and eventually implants in our bodies – humanity became subservient participants in a glory age of obedience, sleepwalking through a digital age of “peace”.
Anyone who didn’t comply was simply wiped away. The ones that survived the purge fled underground. Off the grid.

Enter Pitt: a former digital activist and hacker who holds the key to our salvation. Once upon a time, he discovered the Lazarus Code: a string of ones and zeroes he theorized could wipe out the Widow – if he could somehow decrypt it. But before he got the chance, he was forced off the grid, thus ending the only opposition the Widow faced.
Fast forward fifteen years later and a new team of teenage hacktivists discover it too. But this time, they’re able to crack the code, tracing both the Widow’s location – and origin – to Area 51 and Roswell.
