About the Book:
Annie has been living alone in Texas for the last few years as her husband fights the Union army in the Civil War. Word is coming down that the war is over and that the men will soon be returning home. But they won't be the same when they do. Something happened during the war that has turned the fighting men into the undead. Annie, and the other women in town, along with others who never fought in the war, are left to defend the town from this zombie horde. Can they fight them off? Or is it already too late?
